Chanting mantra in community can help bring an expansiveness to our body, mind, and spirit which helps us set the ground/ prepare the raft for riding the waves of life with more ease. Chanting mantra in a moment of difficulty is also a powerful tool for transformation — opening us up to clear seeing of our internal and external weather while gaining empowerment to notice our agency to initiate thoughts and behaviors that impact both.

What is Kirtan?

Kirtan, in its most well-known form, is the call and response singing of a mantra that usually focuses on Radha, Krishna, Sita, and Rama. It includes a varying mixture of different musical instruments, dance, and audience participation.
