About the Event
Join Judy of "Permission to Pause, Forest "Bathing" Therapy of NJ" and spend a morning immersed in mindfulness, community and the beauty of the natural world. Forest "Bathing" can help to activate our parasympathetic nervous system whose function is "rest and digest" and helps us recover from a stressed-out system. It can help support your immune system and have a positive effect on attention, cognitive performance, emotions, mood, and behavior. This is not a hike or a naturalist walk. The land is very accessible and we will be covering a limited area. This event is for adults only.
Please dress accordingly for the weather. Layers are best this time of year. The forest can be cool in the morning. Bug spray, covered
shoes/boots, water, and something to sit on (mat or camp chair) strongly suggested. I have camp stools to borrow.
Please arrive by 9:15 to insure parking. We would like to begin the walk by 9:30 AM. There is a bathroom facility at the parking area.
